Vietnam Government launched eVisa system on February 1, 2017. Some people may be confused and worry whether existing visa exemption program obsoletes. But set your mind at ease. Visa free program is still provided. And that’s quite another thing. Specific nationals(23 countries) can visit Vietnam without a visa. Remember, you need to provide a flight ticket or e-ticket to the following destinations to the immigration inspector with passport.

Philippines
Visa-free for 15 days
Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Russian, Sweden, Norway, Finland, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain
Visa-free for 14 days
Brunei, Myanmar
The condition to visit under this program, is that you are passport holder of eligible country and you can provide a flight ticket or e-ticket to the following destinations.
The important thing you should really know is if you attempt to re-enter Vietnam within 30 days from the first visit, you must get a visa.
