龍山寺へのお参り後、なんだかお腹が空いて来た。
夕方だというのにまだ蒸し暑いし、休憩も兼ね最寄りの台湾料理屋に立ち寄る。
台湾料理といっても土地によってもいろいろで、ここでは台南料理を食べられる。その価格と美味しさで大満足だったわけだが、どうやらここは偶然にも人気店だったようだ。
福建省出身の初代が創業した100年以上も続く老舗店で、店名の通り切仔乾麺が有名とのこと。
夜は早く閉店するが（人通りが少なくなることもあり、遅くまでは開いていないとのこと）、龍山寺拝観後にでも立ち寄ってみるのはいかがだろうか。
ちなみに、ここはお店の名前通り切仔麺が人気。汁なしと、スープありがあり、どちらも美味。価格も３０台湾ドルと良心的。故にお代わりした。（生腸やレバー、魚の皮、どれを食べても安くて美味しい。）

After visiting Lungshan Temple in Manka, we were feeling hungry. Although the sun had already set, it was still hot and humid outside. So, we decided to take a break and have a quick dinner. We found a cozy restaurant near the temple and decided to go in.
Taiwan has a wide variety of regional cuisines, and the food differs from place to place. The dishes in Northern Taiwan are different from those in Southern Taiwan, much like in other regions. This particular restaurant served Tainan cuisine, which is known for being sweeter compared to other Taiwanese foods.
We were so lucky to stumble upon this restaurant because it’s quite famous for its affordable prices and delicious food.
The restaurant was founded more than 100 years ago by the first owner, who came from Fujian Province in China. If you visit, you absolutely can’t miss the “qie zai mian” (a type of noodle), which the restaurant is named after. There are two types of this noodle: one served with soup and the other without. Both were incredibly tasty!
By the way, can you guess how much the noodles cost? Just 30 TWD (about $1 USD)! I couldn’t believe it. It’s such a great value, don’t you think? Other dishes, like raw hormone and fish skin, were also unique and delicious.
Unfortunately, the restaurant closes early, but I highly recommend a visit. It’s not far from Lungshan Temple in Manka, so it might be a good idea to stop by either before or after your visit to the temple.
